So, he asked for a song and he wanted it to be a kind of, and I quote, a kind of blue-eyed soul song.

Yeah, and that was for the soundtrack for Streets of Fire, right? That's right.

Yeah.

And blue-eyed soul is hollow notes.

Right? Sure.

So it's taking us a while to get to the song.

We need to talk about Streets of Fire.

Oh, absolutely.

Maybe we'll try to recall.

So when we talk about Streets of Fire, at the end of the conversation, if we end up saying it was just okay, we can remember to say that we were just whelmed by it.

Oh, it's such a whelming

experience.

There were two other big influences on the creation of the cyberpunk role-playing game though.

One is yet another film called Streets of Fire, which I don't know if you've ever seen.

I don't think so.

Streets of Fire is great.

It's got a sledgehammer fight between Michael Perret and Willem Dafoe at the end.

I'm so interested.

And if you're a fan of, if you like Bubblegum Crisis, Bubblegum Crisis is built on Streets of Fire plus Blade Runner.

Honestly, you can see the influences in all the games like Renegade, Final Fight, Double Dragon, Streets of Rage.

I mean, Streets of Rage, there's another film called Streets of Fire.

which I don't know, maybe I'll check out for the podcast as well.
