But others say, wait a minute, Poltergeist 3 was filming a lot around Water Tower Place in Hancock next door.

And that's Streeterville.

And that's the cursed land where, especially with the John Hancock building, where we've had all kinds of untimely deaths.

Now, the Hancock went up from 1967 to 1970 without a single loss of life, which is amazing.

And we had our late, great Chris Farley, who died after a while at a party on Rush Street in a 60th floor condo.

Mm-hmm.

But my favorite aspect of weirdness connecting with Streeterville there and that site is the fact that in 1930, A baby boy was born in Chicago, right where the Hancock now stands, who would grow up to become a lion tamer and a calliope player in the circus and would become a police crime photographer before in 1966 on April 30th, while Perkis Nock, he would find, would found in San Francisco, the Church of Satan.

I'm talking about Anton LaVey was born right there at that spot.

Sure.

The John Hancock, for instance, it's on Streeterville, as you know, and Streeterville was the land that was created by Cap Streeter, the famous Chicago eccentric who would beach his boat in a sandbar a century back and invite neighbors to come and dump garbage and fill in that property.

And Streeter was notorious in this town for his feuds with the politicians, with the government, and eventually he lost title to the land, or never really had title, but was just driven off from the land.

Streeter pronounced a curse upon that property, and for many years it was considered just a journalistic joke, something to be written about during slow news periods.

But then in the 1960s, when the Hancock was being put up at Streeterville, that curse story came back again, because I'm sure you might be aware of this too, when the Hancock went up, at that time was the tallest building in Chicago, only one workman died in its creation.

And yet, despite the fact that only one guy died when it was being built, after it opened its doors, a series of deaths began to occur involving tenants and their guests.

And you probably know about the most famous one of all, the one I'm thinking of right now, Lori Kowalski's plunge from a top floor penthouse window all the way down to Bonwit Teller's on the main floor.

Strange deaths and things like that that have taken place at the Hancock.

The street, I honestly don't remember because I lived in there like after school with a couple of buddies of mine and that type of thing.

And then my wife and I, we lived in Streeterville in a building called McClurg Court.

Oh, I know McClurg

Court.

And it was a descriptive piece of journalism.

But are we supposed to infer that he's coming here to die? Like, I didn't know what to take away from it other than, okay, he's in his Streeterville apartment.

So the news is that he is here because Chicago is home? I think

that's what the news is, right? Okay.

And that is according to U.S. News and World Report.

The hospital in Streeterville shares that title with Cincinnati's Children's and Nationwide, which is Children's, which is in Columbus.

The magazine looking at factors such as survival rates, patient safety, infection prevention, and nurse staffing.

The number one children's hospital in the country, according to the Survey there is Boston Children's.
