Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

I'll probably get to those in the coming year.

But, um, uh, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, I played this not too long ago, actually.

I wanna say maybe three years ago.

Um, and [laughs] funnily enough, like, my, uh, Eric, my, my wife, my wife Erica and I, like, we bought this to, like, make fun of it [laughs] 'cause the main characters, like, the, like, the tone is all, um, out of whack.

[clears throat]

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is, is...

That's, that's not a musou game though, but that is Tecmo Koei.

That's a good game.

[laughs]

Th- th- there's women in Stranger of Paradise.

That's true.

[laughs]

There are women in Strangers of Paradise.

I've seen at least one GIF where the final party is made up of five people and two of them are women, which is-

Stranger of Paradise-

... one more woman-

En mi caso, Final Fantasy, obviamente.

Eh, pero ya salió uno, Stranger of Paradise.

Kind of.

Kind of.

Okay.

And I know it's been a while since you played it, but the game was Stranger of Paradise, Final Fantasy

4.

Yes.

I think, is it up to three players? Like every player can be controlled technically?

I think so.

And another one to bring back is Stranger of Paradise as well.

Oh, is that multiplayer? I didn't know.

But the Team Ninja games really got me in the last few years.

I think Wolong and Final Fantasy Stranger Paradise were the first two.

And then I played the Nioh games over the winter, and those were all awesome.

And then Dynasty Warriors, Origin... was a really really amazing action game so now i'm like a day one on most of these dynasty warriors and warriors adjacent and definitely the team ninja souls likes uh coming out so uh toei kekmo is is my is my boy going forward

The piece, and I think all the pieces we're going to listen to today, was written by Naoshi Mizuta, the primary composer for Final Fantasy XI.

Some of the, yeah, I think contributed to some of Remake and Rebirth, Stranger of Paradise, some XIV stuff.

He's been all over.

So, yeah.

So they've gone outside of, but never anything from Crystal Chronicles.

You know, I'd like to see some more stuff from Stranger of Paradise has some really interesting music in it.

I think it's time to branch out even more there with some of this live stuff.

And I wouldn't be surprised if we see that soon.
