Strange Harvest

Yeah, Shelby Oaks, yeah.

Yeah, it's kind of like Shelby Oaks and Strange Harvest.

It's all these weird new age, I guess, internet kind of... based movies and this one is kind of like about some um televised pastor that kind of has control over this town and no one really knows what's going on because sometimes these people just go into like a comatose state and stuff happens around them and then they wake up and they don't remember ever going into this comatose state And it all – this whole movie centers around the fact that this person gets hit by this car in the middle of the street when all these people are around, and they're all technically witnesses, but none of them saw it happen.

And then you watch the security footage of it, and they all kind of just stop in place and just kind of, like, sit there.

Yeah, good movie.

I finally sat down and watched strange harvest, which I had not known much about but which I like I was shocked to find that it was like a mockumentary sort of thing.

I had no idea that I had heard like people slowly slowly garnered some attention from you know other horror heads that I I listen to and respect.

So I gave it a shot and like I liked it at first and then by the end I'm not so sure that I loved it.

about Until Dawn.

Yeah, we stopped at Strange Harvest, I think.

Or was it Midsommar? Okay, Midsommar.

Let's start off with your new pick on 10.11, okay?

it.

That's like the Strange Harvest that we watched recently.

That has that.

I talked Danielle into watching Lake Mungo with me five or six years ago and convinced her, at least for the night while we were watching, that it was all true.

Yeah, go ahead,

please.

Alan, you said Strange Harvest? Yes.

Okay, I couldn't hear what you said.

But I did watch the other one.

I ordered a movie called Strange Harvest and it showed up finally.

And I was telling you about it, how it was strange.

It was called it was it was ordered through something called MOD, which is manufactured on demand.

My MOD boots.

Yeah.

And so I got this Strange Harvest film, and I watched that last night because I'm like, oh, I want to see how legit this is.

Yeah, how was it? Very good.

don't think it's bad i don't think it's what i wanted based off of the trailer but i'm not mad we saw it

yeah hard not to talk about without giving anything away yeah all right next up was a new pick for me i chose strange strange harvest which was a uh mockumentary

yes and it was um it felt very true crime i mean there were some points where i was like this is a I was going to say, it felt like the Hulu ones that I like to watch, like the social media murderers.

Oh, okay.

Dude.

I'm thinking of Strange Harvest.

You need to watch Dark Harvest immediately.

It's my favorite Halloween movie.

I told him about a movie that I've written years ago and what I want to transfer it into.

And he's like, oh, you need to check out Strange Harvest, which I've never seen before.

Have you seen this? I don't think so, but I will look it up.

It's quite niche.
