Stormy Gage-watts

Third thing you need to know, former Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins is jumping back into local politics.

The one-term Democrat mayor endorsed fellow Democrat Stormy Gage Watts to be the next mayor of Shreveport.

Gage Watts is currently a member of the Cattle Parish Commission and is running for mayor against incumbent Tom Republican Tom Arsenault, and six other candidates.

Perkins was eliminated from re-election in 2022 in the jungle primary, then endorsed Arsenault in the runoff against Democrat State Senator Greg Tarver.
