Stormkeep

Philip spent a pretty good portion of his career at Century Media and only kicked up Vesperian earlier in 2026, but he's got some really, really great bands and great releases already.

I found out about Vesperian shortly after they released the new Stormkeep record, but there's a

lot to love about this record label.

I mean, they've got Wayfarer, they've got Tomarum, they've got Polymoon, they've got more who is a fantastic band that everybody needs to listen to.

bands? That's relatively easy to answer.

So the first band was Wayfarer.

that I talked to and then in December 24 I received a phone call from from Isaac from Blood Incantation who's also in Wayfarer and he said Philip you might know I have this other black metal band Stormkeep and I said yeah I know Stormkeep yeah and would you be interested and or would you consider signing them to Century Media and then I said yeah sure absolutely I would be super interested and But then I left.

And then Isaac said, but now I don't want to be on Central Media anymore.

Oh, okay

Uh, so that's gonna feature Wolves in the Throne Room, Stormkeep, Yob, Subrosa, and Fief.

So that's interesting.

That's- I wonder if they're gonna use the same room where the, the party was in the movie, right?

These are guys from other bands.

They got together and have put out an album that I would say if you're into Stormkeep Maybe you check out River Flame.

Again, the LP is Lunar Crusades out on the Code 666 label.

So you are going to hear new releases tonight, and I will be spinning a bunch early on, and then I'll transition into some old tunes as well.

So I had, I had a couple good conversations about that, and, uh, I apologize if I was wrong.

I was also wrong about, uh, a statement I made regarding Blood Incantation, Wayfarer, and Stormkeep, 'cause I said the same guys were in all three bands.

One of our listeners, Andrew, told me that there's only one member that shares across all those bands, and that's Isaac, the drummer.

But he is the main creative force behind Stormkeep, and also possibly Wayfarer.

I, I don't mean to say the wrong thing if I say the wrong thing.

I try, I try to be as accurate as possible, but occasionally I do get it wrong.
