Stony Plain Records

But it's her bright personality that's being remembered now.

Jeff Kulawick, former president of Stony Plain Records, calls her bold, beautiful, and brave.

Canadian producer Derek Downham says she was a ray of light and a hilarious person who came up in a time where there were few other women in rock, and led with love.

In a 2018 interview with CBC Radio, Sass Jordan showed that spark.

At that point, he was on Rounder Records, the Holmes Brothers were, put out four records and one on Real World.

which was Peter Gabriel's label, and a really cool soundtrack called Lotto Land that came out on Stony Plain Records.

So I had those records, and then they switched to Alligator Records and put out a couple of records, a gospel album that Joe and Osborne produced on them, and an album called Speaking, well, that was called Speaking in Tongues.
