Stockton Lake

This is what I found out.

My friend Dave lives down in Stockton Lake.

He told me this.

He woke up one day, looked outside his home, and it looked like someone plowed and dissed his whole lawn.

It doesn't matter how bright the skies are.

But like the water yesterday fishing at Stockton Lake was 86 degrees still.

So that's a bit hot.

Probably going to have to get down there in that low 70s, you know, to even be able to pull that off.

So, yeah, no doubt the pawpaw always plays.

I like a pawpaw around the spawn.

uh same way with a walking bait i really like a walking bait around the spawn uh but it works great in the fall you know it's a big profile bait you know something like the walking haint is really loud uh and then it's got three big hooks on it i mean it's really a power fish in maca you know and there's no doubt that there'll be days they will not touch a plop or a buzzbait but they will beat the paint off of a walking bait and i think you just kind of got to figure out what that day is you know but uh i like a walking bait a lot of times in the shade lines and different things because you can actually manipulate it to stay there a little longer and give them a little bit more time to either get pissed off at it or go ahead and just just uh find it but um there's also lakes like stockton lake it doesn't seem like they bite a walking bait worth of darn up there I just, over the years, just haven't got them.

Now, Grand Lake, they'll chew the paint off it.
