rather cosy, and we in the garage rather envied them.

Next, we were billeted in Stockgrove Park near Heath and Reach, and very handy for the A5, which was our favourite hitchhiking road to London.

For us, it was luxury.

Every bedroom, several of us to each, had a bathroom, and the grounds with their gazebo and lake were a joy.

And the heating is switched off and most of the wrens talk about how cold it was and miserable and drafty and how, you know, they were living in the attic and they had run-ins with bats and it was dingy and dark and generally pretty miserable.

Some of the wreneries are nicer than this.

You know, Stockgrove Park is meant to have been quite opulent.

One of the advantages is the wrens can use the garden.
