Stockbridge

Indeed, indeed.

Conyers, Georgia, Stockbridge.

Yes, indeed.

Roselle, New Jersey.

What's better than two screens? Three.

So you can go side by side by side, or you come to a place like this, or you go tomorrow to Three Dollar Cafe in Stockbridge where we're gonna be with a fan.

It's a day where, I know Notre Dame and BYU, that- that's the night game.

Okay.

All right.

And then we got Stockbridge, Georgia mayor removed.

Jaden Williams became Georgia's youngest elected black mayor at 23 in Stockbridge, a city of about 40.

30,000 outside Atlanta.

The city council removed him after investigations found explicit messages with an 18-year-old high school student in more than $4,000 in city money spent on personal expenses.

Yeah.

So we're located in Stockbridge.

Today, it is legally hitting shelves across our state.

Atlanta News First reporter Chelsea Beinfur is live at a medical cannabis dispensary in Stockbridge.

Chelsea, this is really an incredible story.

Jennifer Conforti says she never thought she would be a medical cannabis advocate, let alone learn how to make THC oil inside her own kitchen.

Amen.

Honored to, uh, have with us, uh, a history maker, the youngest, uh, elected mayor in the history of the state of, uh, Georgia, former mayor of Stockbridge, 21 years of age.

[applause] Honored to have you with us, young man, amen.

God is gonna do a great work in your life.

All right, folks, let's talk about, uh, power.

We saw this, uh, happen in Georgia, where two weeks ago, the Stockbridge Georgia City Council voted to remove the city's youngest mayor in history from his position less than a year after taking office.

After a nearly 10-hour hearing into allegations involving the city's spending, his treatment of employees, and communications with an 18-year-old high school student, Jayden Williams, who was 22 when he took office in January, is no longer leading the city of about 37,000 folks.

Jayden and his attorney, Robert Kenner, join us right now.

I wasn't really focused on, uh, what I can do and my personal attributions in politics.

I was focused on what the community expected and what they wanted.

I heard the needs of my residents, being a resident now of Stockbridge for over 20 years, um, and I just wanted to serve my community.

So I haven't made that decision just yet, uh, but I will say it's probably not scratched out.
