He did not warn her further.

His fingers hooked into the silk at the hip, found the tiny, almost invisible give where Stitch met Stitch, and then he pulled.

The sound was obscene.

This Saturday, September 26th, Yarn Over Hook Turns 2! Confetti, confetti! So today we're kicking off a full week of crochet, conversation, games, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to stitch together.

Two years of live streams and late night ideas.

And that's a big part of what makes this anniversary feel so special too.

But we'll have all week to celebrate and reflect.

I know that I've, because I've done a few sort of craftivism projects in the past.

I did one called Stitch for Syria once where we invited people to cross stitch a small design.

It was just a little square.

It was kind of Lebanese design and we assembled those into wall hangings.

What had happened with me was I'd realized that A, it wasn't all going to fit together because I'd miscounted some elements and it was starting to do my head in.

Plus it was really yellow and I was getting quite bored.

But also by that point I started becoming Mr. X Stitch and I found cross stitch stuff where and I started making like graffiti cross stitch and stuff.

So I was quite glad that rather than it sitting in the loft, I was able to hand it over to the unfinished finishables.

I've been quilting for maybe eight or nine years now.

Um, and so in the middle of the pandemic, I was, um, I'm a mechanical engineer project manager in my, in my day job and designing quilts just kind of fit naturally into, into what I do.

And so Brooks Fitch and Stitches was born right in the middle of the pandemic.

Um, And I designed pixelated quilt patterns.
