And then you've got kind of the tenderness with Mardi Bum, still take you home dancing shoes, that kind of flirty nature.

And I think it all builds up.

know to a certain romance you know like for me and i think a lot of people is the greatest arctic monkey song in terms of like what what he's able to do lyrically what the band are able to do musically like it all just comes together and it was so clear really quickly that we had a classic on our hands i mean you look at the sales for this it was the fastest selling album since oasis be here now it was a record for a british debut band still holds that record like fastest selling it's now been equipped by a few artists like obviously like Adele I think is one of those British artists but you know, I think when you kind of try and explain the stature that these guys have in the UK, like that's what people remember them as.

They never released a third single from this album, which is crazy considering some of the songs you and I have already talked about in this podcast.

That would have been a fucking dynamite third single.
