Stevie Wayne

But it's not a bad movie.

Selma Blair plays Stevie Wayne, the Adrienne Barbeau part.

And she's fine.

Isn't Tom...

Yes.

In which you play Stevie Wayne.

So...

What does it feel like for you after so long since the movie's initial release to be able to travel and come and experience the movie on the big screen again, almost 50 years after initial release with the fans? How does that feel to you?

Don't have it in the same location.

Don't have characters like Stevie Wayne as the radio announcer that radios out of a lighthouse.

I mean, those few things, if they just would have kept their tentacles away from that 1980 property...

This would have been a better film, but when you have another source to compare it to directly, this was just a miss.

Yeah.

But I think, like, you know, in this movie, I love Stevie Wayne.

Stevie Wayne is not presented as a single working mother in the same way that it is in other movies where it's, like, like, exploit.

Yeah, I totally get what

you mean.

Plus, you got more fog than you can ever fucking imagine in this movie, and you have Adrienne Barbeau in this, who's incredible.

She plays Stevie Wayne, and she's a radio DJ or radio host, whatever you want to call it.

And I love the aspect of that, how they had her in there as the radio host kind of just going over everything that was going on in town.

There's a movie called Pontypool that takes that section of the fog and just makes it the entire movie.

But then we cut to a radio station where we learn that Sissy is a night DJ, and on air she reads a report about the death of the showgirl, mentioning that the victim's boyfriend is cooperating with the police.

And since we're on the topic of DJs, Joe, I'm just curious, I know we haven't really gotten much of Sissy yet in my description, but if you had to pick one, would you rather listen to Sissy spin tunes, Or Stevie Wayne from the

phone.

Oh, Josh.

However, the festive mood soon takes a turn for the worse when the dark history of the town is uncovered and a pirate ghost ship descends on the sleepy town.

This is when Nick Castle steps in with his alcoholism and whoring ways and is about to save the day while being led by a sexy voice radio host, Stevie Wayne.

As I said, I have never seen this before.

I was aware of it.
