Yeah, he auditioned for me for a show that I was directing in L.A. because I started directing the voices on animation.

He got to second place to play a dog on a great Nickelodeon show I did.

And so years had passed.

And there we were in Burbank at the Burbank Salami Studios, which was just around the corner from Havenhurst Studios.

And that was really wonderful.

I wish he'd got that part because he was so close and he, what he did was like, I remember giving him the direction.

Yeah.

And then it just dropped.

It was really, really hard.

And I'm telling you, I was the only black woman.

I was the only black person around the boardroom table.

I had a lot of pressure to fit in.
