They did a pretty spicy thing right on the doorstep of the season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs trade Matthew Knies, Emil Andre, Steven Lorentz, and a 2027 second-round pick, which is the Kraken's second-round pick, so a team that's probably gonna be pretty bad this season, and, uh, a pretty decently valued pick, to the Blue Jackets for Kirill Marchenko, Elvis Merliz- Merslicins, and Miles Wood.

What is-- What do people need to see from this team? Because as of today, it feels like, hey, just be fun, just be entertaining, just show that there is hope and that this is a team that can turn it around very quickly.

I guess, uh, first off, thank you to Matthew Knies and Steven Lorentz.

They were good Leafs, good, good men.

Uh, played well, played hard for us, um, and wish them the best.

The players coming in, Emil Andre is making about 1.5 million.

And Stephen Lawrence is already in the minors.

He got waived by the Leafs.

So he's making, I think, about 500k onto the cap, but doesn't actually count as on the roster.

He also included a second-round pick, Emile Andre, Stephen Lawrence, and received Elvis Merzlikens and Miles Wood in the trade.

Uh, Columbus got Matthew Knies, Emil Andre, Steven Lorentz, and a 2027 second round pick.

Um, I think we both wanted the Bruins to go get Kirill Marchenko.

Doesn't happen.

He ends up going the other direction.

Stephen Lawrence, who I think just got waived.

He did, yes.

So gets waived, clears waivers, gets dealt.
