He's really gone into the science and we just got some great people.
Ben WeitzHOST
6:55
You were talking about colectin-3 and you mentioned carbohydrates.
Ben WeitzHOST
6:59
And the first thought that came to my mind, is this at all related to those scary lectins that Dr. Gundry told us about why we shouldn't eat certain carbohydrate foods, why we shouldn't eat vegetables that have seeds and things like that? Yeah.
Ben WeitzHOST
7:16
does
Isaac EliazGUEST
7:17
so galactin is is a specific well-researched lectin and i never made dr gadby is very smart but i think that one of the reasons why i didn't talk about galactin because it's kind of of my thing you know it's patented it's protected but galactin-3 is one of these things the problem with galactin-3 that gets absorbed because it's you know it gets absorbed into through the gut but if it's secreted in the intestine, but it gets produced inside the body.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
42:37
due to poor digestion, weak gut lining, weak microbiome imbalance.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
42:40
And that's where I took like, I think Dr. Gundry is one of these people that lands on the really intense fence and I've really learned some stuff and I like to use him as an example because I interviewed him a couple of times and I really like him and there's things he said that I really like and there's things that I absolutely do not use that he says, but I still love him.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
42:55
And I think we can all do that.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
42:56
Like the power is just to take, there's things I'm saying, take what works and leave the rest.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
45:38
Like from there, I want to start scaling.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
45:40
Can I add in psyllium husk, psyllium seed? Can I add in sprouted flax and chia that has a nice mix of insoluble and soluble with natural omega-3s? And can I add things in that feed the good bacteria? And actually, I was going to bring up Dr.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
45:52
Gundry.
Dane JohnsonGUEST
45:52
He said this thing that he thought that A bit of doses of things every once in a while can really help build up your microbiome diversity.
