At least that's my understanding of it.

It, it was Witkoff and Kushner and Trump himself that actually came up with this, with this loose framework.

And, and, and Putin asked multiple times of Witkoff and of Trump, "Is this correct? I- Is what I'm hearing from you correct? Is, is this what you're pitching us?" And the understanding was yes, this is, this is how we would like to get, uh, get the first, the first stage of, of some sort of a peace going by, by presenting these conditions.

And, and Russia agreed.

But it was walked back in 24 hours because Trump made the bonehead move of, of calling the Europeans, or the Trump administration decided, "Let's bring the Europeans into, into it," right? And then the whole thing just, just went south.

It's, it's, it's true.

I mean, again, they were bragging to, uh, Witkoff and, and, uh, Kushner, our, our two top negotiators, that they, that they had enough e- enriched uranium to build 11 nuclear bombs.

And, you know, they wouldn't have just used them on, on Israel.

They, they hate Saudi Arabia because they're s- they're Sunni Muslims.

Witkoff has somehow managed to frustrate both Kiev and Moscow, and yet Trump still keeps him at the center of negotiations.

Several players are trying to sideline U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.

Kiev is reportedly unhappy with Witkoff's poor grasp of the war and the territorial issues, like Ukraine.

You should be like if you're being the negotiator, you should understand this thoroughly.

He's But he said in the past that Trump is agreement incapable.

So they don't really view the entreaties by Kushner and Witkoff as serious.

May I ask you about that one? Because Mearsheimer a few days ago reported about that dinner with Lavrov on his YouTube channel.

And he said what surprised him the most was that apparently in these, you know, the negotiations that in the lead up to the Anchorage summit, where the big deal was supposed to be, you know, just the struck and handshake and so on.

It is unbelievable.

What Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff and so many others have done to steal billions of dollars and make illegal deals overseas, sell out America's national security so that they can make an extra buck.

It is long past time that we have a conversation in this country about what Donald Trump's idiot, awful, corrupt son-in-law Jared Kushner is doing to this country.

I want you to hear what he has to say about how baffling Jared Kushner's actions are.

Well, look, it's it's Jared Kushner is wearing two hats.

He's effectively he and Steve Witkoff are effectively secretaries of state.

They fly all over the world to kind of make peace and to do diplomacy, which is fine.

The United States was... giving the impression that they were going to continue to negotiate.

In fact, in the case of back in February, you know, Witkoff and Kushner had just completed a round of talks on Iranian issues, and they had already scheduled another follow-up meeting when suddenly we and the Israelis launched a massive attack on February 28th.

So the Iranians can only conclude when this administration, the Trump administration, says anything about negotiation, you shouldn't believe the first word of what they're saying.

So given the possibility of this really going into an incredibly dangerous phase, is there any possibility that Trump and Netanyahu unleashing their air forces and whatever other forces that they can gather? Obviously, the Israelis have got a lot of intelligence.

Number one, it is Donald Trump's way of humiliating Marco Rubio.

He keeps giving him more jobs as a way of illustrating to Marco Rubio that being secretary of state is actually not really a thing in his administration, that he's going to send Witkoff and Kushner to deal with all the foreign policy things of consequence.

And he Trump will will decide what he wants to do on on on the big issues.

And so it's a way of diminishing.

So you've got to have to find a credible way back to the table.

The challenge with that is that The people that Mr. Witkoff and Mr. Kushner are talking to, the elected leadership, while they want to negotiate an end, are not the ones who actually have their finger on the trigger.

That's literally the Revolutionary Guard and the hardliners and the supreme leader.

So you've got to find a way to credibly get back to the table.
