Steve Van Doren

So, that part's nice.

I guess the conclusion of this all was that Steve Van Doren, who works at Vans...

I guess he's maybe the son of the founder also? Yeah.

But about a week after it all started, he commented that he was, you know, he apologized for the confusion.

Of course, all this discussion is, you'll pardon the term, academic.

The only real question is, given the propensity of most people to avoid taxes, will it pass just over two weeks from now? Tallahassee pollster Steve Van Doren has a few numbers.

So my poll right now has it at 48% yes.

But other polls are out there right now circulating, and they seem to be consolidating at, well, 20 People poll says they're at 42, I don't think it's possibly that low.

Yeah.

Um, Steve Van Doren, ask him about back in the '80s, he and Cab came, uh, to the store when I was doing a breakdance contest, and he was trying to decide if they wanted to be skateboarders or breakdancers.

[chuckles]

[chuckles] I definitely wasn't with Cab.

Thank you so much.

Okay, now then I gotta thank all the people that actually, uh, contributed today as well.

Jeremy Ray, Dan Rogers, Matt Hensley, Michael Ballard, Karma, Shroogy, Ray Barbee, uh, Steve Van Doren Sean Sheffey.

Mm-hmm.

Now broadcasting in podcast from, still have a much better face for radio, but I'm super stoked to broadcast actually out of Skullcandy Studios in Costa Mesa today.

I'm joined by no other than Steve Van Doren.

No introduction is needed.

Steve, how are you? Truly no other introduction is needed.

Okay, and I've got to, again, like I said, there's so many, so many people hit me up with beautiful words for you.

So I want to share those with you.

So, Jeff Raleigh, Steve Van Doren is the biggest supporter of professional skateboarding in the world.

Steve and the Vans brand have put their money where their mouth is, and done so much to support the culture on all levels.
