Steve Turner

I mean, all the first people I met were all skaters.

I mean, Steve Turner and, you know, Mark Arm and, you know, all those folks were all skateboarders.

So, I mean, it's kind of an amazing thing.

You know, it's, like, just, like, a little subculture of the subculture.

You know, not hair metal, but that kind of, you know, that kind of L.A. scene glam rock way of thinking.

Whereas, you know, Steve Turner and Mark Arm were definitely more raw and punk rock.

Kurt Cobain would have been in the more punk rock, you know, part of all of that.

You know, it's such an interesting time.

How they pulled back from the limelight.

And here's the funny thing about this.

There was an interview with Mark Arm and Steve Turner from Mudhoney, and they had gone on tour with both bands.

And they said that the Nirvana camp was a mess.
