Well, I learned and that's why I learned a lot from a gentleman.

His name is Steve Sims, Steve D Sims.

He passed away a while ago.

He wrote a book called Blue Fishing and he always talked about how sometimes how far a handwritten thank you note will go and just building a relationship because somebody actually took the time to write out a card to actually go mail it instead of somebody just writing a quick text and hitting send.

It's going to make a mark.

I heard him speak once and he said, I've never seen someone open an envelope with one hand.

And so I did that.

We built a rather successful brand and business for him called Steve D. Sims.

And that's kind of what pulled me into the specific lane of personal branding and helping business owners create a personality, a presence around what they do to help them stand out against the competition and attract their perfect clients.
