But I would say
Jon NegroniHOST
11:22
that in terms of how it plays around with like real life, it's very similar to Danny Boyle's Jobs, where it kind of just creates its own version of events so liberally.
Jon NegroniHOST
11:34
that you kind of...
Jon NegroniHOST
11:35
Even audiences who don't know that much about Steve Jobs, or in this case, that much about Chris Hansen, will probably understand, you would think, that what they're seeing is absolutely a huge, huge departure
Will AshtonHOST
11:45
from real life.
Will AshtonHOST
11:46
Sure.
Chris RosenCORRESPONDENT
8:40
I think he'd be a worthy 10, so that's where I have him.
Richard LawsonGUEST
8:43
And, and by some measure he was like close to getting Supporting Actor nomination for Steve Jobs.
Chris RosenCORRESPONDENT
8:48
Mm-hmm.
Katey RichHOST
8:49
Oh, sure.
Ricky DavilaHOST
4:36
Even if his Oscar-winning performance from King Richard wasn't his best, he is capable of so much more, and I hope he can get back to that at some point.
Ricky DavilaHOST

What I also loved was that while the boxing scenes are intense and brutal, they're not flashy, and Michael Mann chooses not to make a film... about boxing in the traditional sense or just a boxing movie to get a lot of action in the sequences are not stylized or flashy thus making them that much more impactful when they do come on especially as each round passes his direction and pacing gives this feeling of exhaustion to the fighters and to the audience so if you've never seen Ali and you love Will Smith you really need to cross this one off your watch list it is terrific The second recommendation is 2015's Steve Jobs, directed by Danny Boyle with a script from Aaron Sorkin.
Ricky DavilaHOST
5:26
It stars Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs.
Ricky DavilaHOST
5:30
Taking place backstage just before three separate product launches over the course of about 14 years.
Ricky DavilaHOST
5:36
This has slowly become one of my favorite comfort movies, and for reasons unknown, I cannot tell you why.
Ricky DavilaHOST
5:43
But if you've seen any of Aaron Sorkin's written films, you know the script is already dynamite.
Ricky DavilaHOST
5:48
The dialogue obviously is just sharp, witty, and explosive.
Ricky DavilaHOST
5:53
While this takes place at three separate important product launches in the life of Steve Jobs, it isn't a traditional biopic because it takes place during those events and only has threads woven throughout his upbringing or his past.
Elizabeth DuttonHOST
13:07
Nightmare.
Zaron BurnettHOST
13:08
So in one email, Amy Pascal wrote about a Steve Jobs movie that Sorkin was writing and a couple of his other films that were in development.
Zaron BurnettHOST
13:15
One called Flash Boys and another one that Sorkin was championing to like he wanted to write and direct was going to be his directorial debut.
Zaron BurnettHOST
13:21
And it's called Molly's Game.

11 MINS LATER

Zaron BurnettHOST
24:30
Why? Well, had he been abusive to a co-star? No.
Zaron BurnettHOST
24:33
Had he secretly hurt one of his age-inappropriate girlfriends? Also no.
Zaron BurnettHOST
24:37
It was because he dared to drop out of the Aaron Sorkin film Steve Jobs.
Zaron BurnettHOST
24:41
I guess Leo was like slated to play Jobs.
