Another formative experience was my dad had several copies of the album Aqualung.

And we had like the DCC Gold version mastered by Steve Hoffman.

We had the original CD on Chrysalis from the 1980s.

And we had the Peter Mew remaster from 1998 or whatever it was.

And there's a part of me that, I don't know.

So the, I went on Steve Hoffman, and the thread on this is fucking 900 pages.

There's some snippers.

But I wasn't a regular customer.

Certain records would come out by certain people, like the Steve Hoffman, Kevin Gray stuff, and Joe Harley did way before.

And Music Matters Jazz I was getting into.

Certain records, I didn't really know about mastering engineers.

I hadn't got too deep into the tangerine dream.

And so then I started Googling and I'm like, what am I supposed to listen to? And there was like a lot of posts of people, but it's all very Steve Hoffman boards coded.

Okay.

Just a bunch of like 55 year old Coke spoon guys arguing about whether the guitar undermines the point of tangerine dream or whether it's like the perfect thing to push it triply over the edge.

If you Google that, there's a bunch of forums.

Okay, Steve Hoffman f- like I love this stuff.
