I thought, "This is really, really great," and afterwards kind of went up and started chatting to people, and that's how I met Steve Cross, who, uh, r- runs Talent Factory.

Um, so Talent Factory's a mentoring scheme to help scientists communicate their work and other things through comedy, and that kind of opened up my eyes to, you know, d- a different way to do things.

So got involved with that, started doing a bit of standup, um, and it kind of, yeah, gave me the confidence to do all sorts of different things.
