Now, let me offer this last review, and this is the longest one, and I'm keeping it at its full length because I think it's really pertinent to the conversation we're going to have today.

So this is from the music critic we've cited many times before, Stephen Thomas Erlewine.

He's a really great writer.

And this is from his sub stack.

It's actually, th- like there's another music journalism thing.

It's actually inspired by a Stephen Thomas Erlewine review, um, that I always, that always stuck with me where he's reviewing, I think it was his review of Tracks, like the Bruce Springsteen box set, and he says something like, "Because Bruce is like a craftsman and not the vision- a visionary like Dylan, like his outtakes are like, they're not like as essential as the album tracks." It's something like that.

Yeah.

The balance of sort of context and criticism to me is unparalleled.
