It's like you can't be a solo BCBA because who are the parents going to complain about if you're the only one?

And like that's one of the first questions that I ask.

What is your experience level with giving criticism to the parent? Like who does that right now? Do you do that or do you say, I know my problem, right? Like that's their problem.

If you don't have that experience, then I would recommend you get that experience because that's your job now.

Again, like I'll start back up.

It depends.

So if you're going to be the operator and you're like, I just want to take on, like, for example, I'm going to take on Tricare.

and we even there we used to brag we started ours with no loans no whatever no don't don't that's not no don't those early early podcasts of ours when we brag about that don't listen to well even then like we when

They didn't know what they were doing.

They didn't know their passwords.

They didn't know what clearinghouses they were using.

They didn't know about denial, nothing, right? And so they had no procedures, no policies, right, on this.

And so they just lost 10 years of knowledge, just like, boom, it was gone.

And so, like, what would happen if that, you know what I mean? Yes.

So like having these things in place where anybody that takes on some of these responsibilities, they need to be doing this as well.

I mean, it's just fiscally irresponsible, don't you think?

And we really, all of these things, these issues and problems and barriers that Steven mentioned, we address all of those and we have professionals within our network, within our system to, to help with all of these things.

Yeah, we have a huge community now of probably about 1,600 companies that we work with all over the country.

And so when I get an email saying, "Hey, I don't know what to do here," or, and I don't know the answer or one of our team doesn't know the answer, I can just email anybody in that state that works with us and within 5, 10 minutes I have someone in saying, "Absolutely, I'll help." A- and that is probably my favorite part of this, is the collaboration that we can work together and help each other build amazing practices.

'Cause it, it is about working...

Every BCBA that I've talked to, right? They wanna work with kids.

They wanna help.

And I have never once heard a BCBA say, "Hey, I'm...

How long do you run that out? Or if it's really looking bad early on, you're like, "Okay, it just seems the finances is gonna be a major driver." And I'm sure you've all had experience with that and have seen ways that the money situation can be very problematic.
