Um, and working with, uh, Summers and Stephen McFeely, uh, who, um, uh, you know, who wrote, uh, probably all your favorite Ave- uh, Avengers movies.

Or, uh, you know, they wrote all the Cap movies and they wrote, uh, Infinity...

Uh, Stephen wrote, um- Marcus and McFeely, um, wrote, uh, Infinity War and Endgame and the Cap movies and, um, Stephen had an idea for Doomsday, um, that is really great and really, uh, potent and, um, and I think, I think it's, uh...

Of course, you could, uh, hear, uh, a bunch of different opinions on that in that particular bonus episode.

Um, but it's interesting looking through the credits of this that, um, this series, the Agent Carter series, is not only, you know, created or developed by, uh, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who then of course are also executive producers on the show, and they did, you know, some of the, uh, the, they did, um, like, Endgame, and they've, they sort of took over, uh, if you, if you will, for after Joss Whedon.

You know, 'cause it was always ...

Kevin Feige, of course, as we know, we've talked about many times on the podcast, Kevin Feige is the, the end-all, be-all with regards to Marvel Studios.

Jon Favreau sort of at the beginning, and then when Avengers came and then into Avengers: Age of Ultron, Joss Whedon sort of was like the, the second in command looking over things, tying everything together.

And then when, when Whedon left, it became the Russo brothers.

But one would also argue, uh, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, because they tend to write these films.

As much as the Russo brothers help produce and direct, these two, uh, help to, to write a lot of these films and make sure that all the storylines line up and things almost as much as Kevin Feige.

Multiple reports have come out about this so far, but we now have new details about what could have happened in Avengers Secret Wars, which was originally being written by Michael Waldron, who is still contributing to Doomsday and Secret Wars.

Yes, the Russo brothers and Stephen McFeely are writing it, but Michael Waldron is still there giving input as well, since he was originally supposed to be writing Secret Wars, the original version.

So let's dive into some things that I think make a lot of sense based on what we knew before.

i want to i've got a more selfish question here talking about your origin story i understand that you and um Stephen McFeely, your writing partner, met at the University of California, Davis in 1994, which was of great interest to me because I graduated from UC Davis about a decade before you were

there.

Anthony and Joe Russo, otherwise known as the Russo Brothers, reached a deal by April 2015 to direct both parts of Avengers Infinity War after directing Captain America The Winter Soldier and Captain America Civil War.

A month later, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely had signed on to also return from the Captain America films, writing a screenplay for both parts of Infinity War.

Anthony Russo described the two Avengers sequels as an ending and a beginning, saying, These movies are in some ways going to be an end to certain things, and in some ways they're going to be the beginning of certain things.

Indeed they were.

And with this, because all the heroes are splintered and fractured from each other, and some of them are arrested.

A major complication for the movie was how to deal with an all-powerful villain.
