But Yeah.

When people who lived through it, including the early people who were writing about it, who are also people that lived through it, like Stephen Kent, the things that they remember, I think, are those discount bins.

They remember getting E.T. at Christmas and being horribly disappointed.

They remember playing Pac-Man and being blinded by Flickr.

There was a myth that grew up that they had made millions more than they could actually sell, that they had made $12 million and only sold $7 million.

As near as we can tell, I mean, with the figures we have, as near as we can tell, that's not true.

And this myth actually goes back to Stephen Kent's book, The Ultimate History of Video Games, because he interviewed a lot of people.

But he interviewed Ray Kassar, who was the CEO of Atari at the time.
