Now, as for Tim Curry, he, try to be shocked here, plays the villain in Cardinal Richelieu.

Now, tabbed to direct Disney's Three Musketeers was one Stephen Herek, who had previously directed Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, and would later be tabbed by Disney again to helm the live action 101 Dalmatians.

Now, here, here's a couple of things that really tickled me about this.

So The Three Musketeers, while can be adapted to a lot of different, like, environments, is a very, very French story.

[laughs] Oh.

Well, The Three Musketeers is a 1993 action adventure comedy film from Walt Disney Pictures and Caravan Pictures and directed by Stephen Herek from a screenplay by David Lowery.

The film is loosely based on the 1844 novel, The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas.

It recounts the adventures of d'Artagnan on his quest to join the three title characters in becoming a musketeer.

Now, the, the, the...

in theory, this was a case of get the gang back together, but the director of the first film, Stephen Herek, was not available.

And so if they were gonna get moving on this, they needed a new director.

And producer Scott Kroopf, what, what he deci- I mean, he took a really left-field choice.
