Stephen Carpenter

Um, and I always called him Chino Moreno cause I was a Anglophile from way back and didn't realize that I was making a mistake.

Um, lead guitarist, Steven Carpenter and drummer Abe Cunningham and bassist Chi Chang.

and keyboardist and turntablist Frank D'Angelo, who joined the group in 1990 and back in 1999, respectively.

That is what the original Deaf Tones were.

Next, number five.

Chino Marino gets into a fight with Stephen Carpenter.

Yep.

I don't know if you've seen this one, but this one, this is actually kind of a hilarious story.

So one of the more ridiculous Deftones stories began when someone in the audience threw an unopened package of toilet paper at Chino during a show and actually hurt him.

Chino came backstage furious and embarrassed about what had happened.

And Stephen Carpenter apparently thought Chino's reaction was hilarious and began filming him with a camera.

Chino responded by breaking Stephen's camera, which understandably made Stephen angry, and the argument quickly turned into physical.
