Bloomberg saying its sources are telling it that YouTube has gone to some of its largest creators, you know, some of whom, like Stephanie Soo, have taken big checks to go put some stuff on Netflix, and said, "How about we give you multimillion dollar packages not [laughs] to put your stuff on Netflix? You just keep doing what you're doing, but you do it only here on YouTube." Uh, the offers reportedly take three forms, either directly financing your show, saying, "You know, keep doing your show, we'll pay for it.

Hope maybe it gets better." Uh, giving a share of the platform-wide brand deals, so in other words, saying, "We're not gonna directly fund you, but we will cut you in on more of the ad action, uh, and, uh, get you some of that upfront cash that YouTube negotiates for." Uh, and, uh, in exchange, creators agree to exclusive windows.

I don't think YouTube is usually saying never take it anywhere else.

I mean, there is an argument that if you see a Stephanie Soo, let's just use her for example, a YouTuber, on Netflix, you might start watching her stuff on YouTube more often, right?
