There is also a famous waterfall, the Steindalsfossen.

Its character changes with the seasons.

In the springtime, its tributaries are fed by the melting snow.

During that period, several cubic meters of water per second cascade over the Steindalsfossen with enormous power.

During the summer on the other hand, it comes across as a lazy trickle.

The Steindalsfossen also allows one to look over its shoulder, so to speak.

Visitors can walk behind the falling water and look out through the watery curtain.
