On the eve of the great Minnesota get-together, the 73rd Princess Kay of the Milky Way has been crowned.

It is 20-year-old Jenna Hansen, 20-year-old college student from Owatonna who's representing Steele County, crowned last night at the fairgrounds.

Ten princesses from across the state competed for the title with Isabella Schiffler and Jaden Smith, both representing Stearns County, selected as runner-ups.

During her year-long reign, Hansen will serve as the official Goodwill Ambassador for nearly 1,500 Minnesota dairy farm families and help connect them to consumers.
