But put that aside, these statutes, this reasoning just doesn't prove a constitutional right.

The court points to several state Supreme Courts that have discovered such a right in their state constitutions, but these are not grounded in history and tradition.

I think you have to point this out.

Like, They point to three or four, I think, constitutional cases that say, yes, life of the mother is constitutionally protected abortion.

And so I think it's just having enough of the conceptual knowledge of how the tools work in order to steer them in a way that non-technical people sometimes, they don't understand what's going on behind the hood, so they don't quite see the failure modes.

I had the pleasure of hearing Justice Tufte present to a number of judges and justices from other state Supreme Courts and from some of the federal courts at a Rodell Fellowship and talk about what he's built with these tools for his own workflows.

And I wonder, would you just describe a little bit how you're using the AI tools for your workflows in your chambers and what benefits you're seeing as a result?

I mean, we're seeing lots of early evidence of that.

There's that PACER study of the increased filings.

And then like you, I'm hearing it anecdotally from my friends on state Supreme Courts who all say they're seeing really an increase in filings, not only from self-represented parties, but like you said, from lawyers as well.

Lawyers not only can take cases that they couldn't have made work economically before, but they also are filing more pleadings within each case because it's easier to do that.

You think maybe it has something to do with their partisanship, why they don't want to

join? Well, I think that's the reason you're seeing state Supreme Courts moving away from having the ABA act as the gatekeeper for lawyers to be able to sit for

their state.

Several states are doing that, right? Tennessee, Texas, Florida say, we don't want these guys who can't even tell us that they want our ally to win a war.
