State of Fear

Wrote a book called State of Fear.

It all had to do with creating a state of fear in the nation in order to move people toward policy goals.

uh again another motivating force you know when you can create this state of fear you can get people to do anything so uh so yeah think for yourself don't fall for it especially on a 30 second commercial gather information then if you decide to make a move that's up to you i'm fine with that but don't just automatically move because someone says jump a lot of this stuff is so contrived anyway it's not real it's not spontaneous

He wrote a book called State of Fear, which is essentially that people made up climate change in order to, like, fight the government.

I think my hope is that Crichton...

And eventually, somehow, someway, we'll tackle State of Fear.

I don't know if that's a book club thing or separate, but I think Crichton just didn't...

And it plays into this book a lot, too.
