Star Wars Kid

Yeah, and I spoke to Chris and Michael a number of months ago, and I think one of the scariest things about the film is that people can do stuff without you knowing about it, but then also you could put yourself out there and still find yourself in sort of like a hornet's nest of just whatever the internet does.

And I recently found out the whole story of the Star Wars kid, and I didn't know that he didn't put... his video out there.

Some bullies found it.

They put it on there.

Okay.

That is before YouTube.

That is before smartphones.

Some bullies at his school found the tape and then went through the laborious process of digitizing the footage.

It would get uploaded to the internet in 2003, six months after he filmed it.

It started to go viral on primitive file sharing sites and then got picked up by a popular blog called Waxy.org. That was the first time somebody referred to him as Star Wars Kid.

Every content aggregation site in the world picked this thing up.

If you don't like it, you can just go to somewhere else and have a good time while you're there.
