Star City

Uh, Star-

Star City.

Yeah, Star City.

But I mean, it doesn't mean it can't-

Starling City in the television show.

Star Ling...

Well, Starling in the show, 'cause for some reason they didn't wanna call it that.

He tries to escape with her, but Oliver is able to intervene in time.

The team pursues Mathis through kind of a, you know, everywhere in Starling City seems to be some kind of warehouse.

And it just has this random array of like plastic flaps that are just everywhere.

It's a meatpacking factory everywhere you go.

Everywhere you go in Starling City is a meatpacking.

It's the meatpacking capital of America.

All of Starling City is just a meatpacking industry.

All these plastic flaps are just hanging from everywhere.

In the middle that I don't have strong opinions on, but I feel like wouldn't be terrible.

Coast City, Star City, Central City, and Keystone City.

I wouldn't really want to live in Star City because...

I don't really know if the East Coast is for me, or I mean the West Coast.

Granted, I've never been there, and all my coworkers are from there, so I don't really have anything against it per se, but I just don't know if it's me.

It would be kind of like Gotham, just not as bad.

Really? I feel like Star City would be pretty decent.

I feel like it'd just be like Seattle, but with a Robin Hood.

says oh they rented a car he finds out that later one of these guys had rented a car So it's not as easy.

But even then, he just goes in, speed force into the Star City Police Department, says he taps on the shoulder of the police officers that are at computers.

And then he goes into the computer to find out who these people are using, you know, the deal and records and license

kind of thing.

The Speed Force does not affect that, so it's kind of a silly deal.

But he does find two of the three people.

He ends up having to find out, oh, the one car was rented from the Star City rental palace.

And he's going to go and find out that.

At first, he was just saving people from accidents that were gonna happen, you know, in a few seconds.

But now, in this issue, he can see as far as a week ahead, and he has, um, s- basically stopped all crime and all accidents in Central City, in Star City, and in the Metropolis.

And now that he can see a week ahead, he sees that in seven days a bridge from each city is gonna blow up at the exact same time.

And so he gets into his Flash of Insight, and he's getting so good at it, he can, like, pause it and walk around, like, a crime scene, and he finds out who's gonna blow the bridges up.

I, I thought it was interesting.

I think the Gavin Guidry art is just so wonderful in this book, and, uh, it's also really funny.

There's a scene where he goes into the Star City Police Station to check up their license plates, and he does it so quickly that no one can see him, and, and then he runs out really fast and all the papers go flying everywhere.

And some cop's like, "If we have a fucking fast guy here as often as Star City, I'm quitting by noon." It was just a very funny scene.

Point blank, period.

And in this Star City or whatever, there weren't other superheroes.

And he was just like, okay, they figured out ways to make that work.

And yeah, you can kind of see that here.

He can see future crime, future accidents, and prevent them from occurring.

And he's been using this power to fully protect Central City, Metropolis, Star City.

He has been making sure that there's just no crime there.

Even accidents have stopped happening.
