It's about 90 miles-ish outside of New York City, north of New York City in Dutchess County.

They were really closely tied to Orvis early on and another kennel that was called French Creek Labradors that was out of Pennsylvania.

So between the two of them, that's kind of how I kind of got into the labs.

And then Dan who is the field guide for my story, actually trains in Stanfordville, where I live.

And he's a Springer Spaniel field trial guy.
