Stanford Steve

So-

And those teams might show up in the Steve section.

It, it might be a good bit.

And the teams show up in the Steve sec- And also, we're gonna spend time on your team sometimes on Wednesday, you know? And, and, and some Mondays you'll get, you know, you'll get more, uh, you'll get more action.

So, um, anyways, this is, uh...

I, I don't love this slate.

Now, on the other side, I look at it and it's like ent- until I see something from the Vikings offense, they're gonna be in games where they could lose 'em any week.

And this is a tough place to play.

You be a part of the show as well, tweeting @MackandCube.

Stanford Steve gonna join us this hour to give us his thoughts on college game day, going inside Coleman Coliseum, being in Tuscaloosa.

Spencer Holbrook gonna join us later in the show to give us a couple of items from the Texas perspective here and see...

Or Oklahoma perspective, playing against Texas, and maybe what that offense can do a little bit differently to be ready.

Uh, four and one last week.

So ... second version coming up this week.

Stanford Steve with us in 10 minutes, Spencer Holbrook at 9:00 AM.

So plenty more to get to, plenty more college football to discuss.

Absolutely.

Um, LSU, Kentucky, another one I know that people are gonna be interested in this weekend.

So how do they play against that kind of speed in that environment? We've seen people go there and fold, but we've also seen people, you know, block all that stuff out, like Indiana last year, and go there and get a win.

So, uh, that, that's the match-up to me is how does UCLA handle the dynamic personnel at Oregon.

When we went into this season and we began looking at certain teams, certain games, Hollywood Smothers, Relit Brown, Arch Manning, Cam Coleman, John Mateer, Isaiah Satanga, how excited we would be for Red River, and here we are sitting on-

Pat McAfee, uh, donating a million dollars to the children's hospital.

Uh, what, you know, Kirk Herbstreit has said, and Reese Davis has said, and Stanford Steve and, and all of them, what they've said about Iowa City, and I think it, you, you put it in totality and remove the result, and you say, "Th- this was as good of a weekend as you've ever had in this, in that city." And to showcase the university in that way, um, I think it really was a huge positive and a win for the Iowa fan base, for Iowa City-

Mm-hmm

... and for the university.

If you just look at the statistics and the way that Mateer's been playing, but they have to go and perform and prove it on Saturday.

And that's why Stanford Steve is saying from a desperation standpoint, he's actually taking Oklahoma.

Straight up.

Take a look at the SEC triple header on your way with Texas, Oklahoma in the middle.
