Stanford

But let's go back to where, where'd you grow up?

Well, I grew up in rural America, specifically Stanford, Illinois, outside of a town of about 600.

It was a village.

And we lived on a farm that is now, I believe it's a five-generation farm.

For me, my path was always going to be somewhat in the business world.

I honestly had no urge ever to be in politics.

Other than when I ran for student council president in eighth grade, when I won that, I thought I was going to go out on top You know, at Stanford grade school.

That said, I still am involved in our, you know, in a way, like in our family farm in a way that I feel like, you know, I'm not working in it or anything, but I'm talking to my brother, talk to my family, hearing what's going on.
