Stand Atlantic

But it is Mickey and Bonnie from Stand Atlantic! Hi! Does anyone ever accidentally say Chase Atlantic and get you guys confused? Simple Plan

do! Seriously?

We just did a tour, literally last week we toured with Simple Plan in the UK and on the last show, Pierre from Simple Plan called us Chase Atlantic and the whole crowd went, ooooh.

People kind of hear the music or maybe know the name, but don't really know who we are.

So we do

get a lot of like, sometimes we'll get on the plane and like, we'll have something on a bag that says Stand Atlantic.

And like, someone will be like, oh, like, do you work with that band? And we're like, yeah.

And they're just like, oh, couple of rippers on the radio you have.

Thank you so much for your time.

This has been Mickey and Bonnie from Stand Atlantic, and I've been Glory for the Good Noise Podcast.

Yay! Wonderful.

Absolutely.

That's another solo album from one of the best guitarists in metal history.

Stand Atlantic with God Breath.

I've never done the deep dive on Stand Atlantic.

I want to stay out of Australia.

Wind Waker with Smile.

Let's do it.

It's Bonnie from Stand Atlantic with me, Ash McGregor, on Listen Up.

Bonnie, welcome to the podcast.

Thanks, Ash.

Make something else.

Yeah.

I would not have like stopped music, but at least for Stand Atlantic, like that would have been it.

And yeah.

[laughs]

Um, the album that I have chosen for AJ this week Was Here by the cuties of the music industry, Stand Atlantic.

Let's get into it.

I touched on this briefly last week.

It's in the crack, yeah.

[laughs]

Going into this album, I have no knowledge of Stand Atlantic.

That's kind of what I figured.

Yeah, it'll be cool.

Yeah, and I'm, I'm, I'm actually excited 'cause I've never seen Stand Atlantic, and I know they're opening.

Oh, they're so good.

Yeah.

So sometimes I'm listening to the really heavy stuff.

I don't always bring it to the show, but I do put bands forward like Stand Atlantic-

Mm

... and we play them on the show.

Oh, no.

You are going to be blessed with an album called Was Here by Stand Atlantic.

Okay.

Who are a band that I talk about so fucking much.

No.

Um, the connection-

So Stand Atlantic, Was Here.

Yes.
