Uh, the English Premier League will stay on Stan Sport until 2034 after Stan's owner, Nine Entertainment, signed a new six-year streaming and broadcast contract with the competition.

Nine said it had extended s- its current deal beyond 2028 because the EPL had been a successful driver of new subscriptions for its streaming platform.

It bought the rights from Optus last year in a deal in which Optus actually subsidizes some of the costs for the first three years.

Now, for that next six years, Nine Media is expected to pay about $830 million.

That was reported in the company's media yesterday.

The EPL is a key sport asset for Stan Sport.

It's also got rugby union, Grand Slam tennis.

Today, we're discussing Saccharine, or as I call it, Saturine, the 2026 body horror film that is now available to stream on Stan, following a successful run at some film festivals, including the Sydney Film Festival.

Now, this flick was directed by Natalie Erica James, who had previously helmed Apartment 7A and 2020's Relic, which, yes, we covered in Season 2 of the podcast, and, yes, the link to that review is in the description.

So, I was lucky enough to snag the very last... for the film festival showing of Sakurin a few months ago.

I hadn't really even heard about it until you had posted some things about it.

And, yeah, going into it, didn't really know much about it.

I watched it on Stan last night.

And, look, I enjoyed it.
