Stan Ellis

So I generated my own brief and I went down to the Capitol and took a day vacation.

I was blessed, and I do think it was blessed, to run into Stan Ellis, the assemblyman from Bakersfield.

He was a mud engineer in Wells like 52 years ago.

But he also has, as I learned about Stan, he has companies that are in refineries.

This was when, back to when I initially got started, I went down to the Sacramento State Assembly and I was blessed.

And I think this, in fact, Stan's girlfriend, Springs, had told him, you were blessed.

And I totally agree with her in the fact that I decided to draft my own brief based on what I had learned at the time and go down to the Capitol, take a vacation day and go down there.

Well, I ran into Stan.

And I had seen Professor Miche on like California insider.

And I thought, well, I'd like to meet that guy.

You know, I mean, he really knows his stuff.

I'm listening to that guy's bad-ass.

They should have imposed the Defense Production Act.

Both myself and my colleagues, USC Professor Miche and Assemblyman Stan Ellis, published that brief back in October saying, hey, you need to invoke the Defense Production Act.

We really can't.

afford to lose these refineries.
