both the owner of stafford springs and the guy who runs formula drift and they're both saying the same thing

okay so they

signed for three years that doesn't mean they won't do yeah english town again or next year even but because english town's been going through some turnover and there's some issues there yeah you know they didn't want to they they weren't able to commit to formula drift and say hey we know that we can actually provide this for you and we don't want to take it away if by chance we can't do it so we can't buy it we want to do it we can't buy it I would love them to come back to English.

I think it'd be a great event.

I do think, though, like I'm so stoked it's in New England because this that track is awesome.

Also, they do rent out Stafford Springs for drifting.

It's pretty cheap, but it's but yeah, they have a great layout there.

So I think most of the infrastructure's there, the speakers, the lights, everything that you need, I think, to host a major event, pit lane, um, is in place and, and I think it would be a fantastic show, um, if the trucks were to ever go there.

If folks were to look at a map and try to put Stafford Springs or Stafford Motor Speedway and put a pin in that, what is it relation to? Like, how would folks get there? Where is it in the state of Connecticut?

They're about 30 miles north of Hartford and seven or eight miles south of the Massachusetts border.

North central Connecticut, um, just a few miles from, from southern Massachusetts and, uh, there's not a whole lot going around, or going on around Stafford Springs.

Uh, you're 30 miles from, uh, Hartford and, and kind of the nearest, you know, large population area.

But, um, a quiet corner and a quiet area and it, it's fun to, to go there every day.
