St-Hubert

A couple of things I'll mention.

In 84, when I got hired and I had the David sit down, he took me over to St. Hubert across the road.

yeah.

67s are milling about in front of their own bench.

A good opportunity to check the St. Hubert barbecue out of town scoreboard, chicken ribs and hockey.

St. Hubert, only one other OHL game on tap right now, and that's Sudbury leading Brampton midway through the contest, 2-0.

Later on tonight, Kitchener at home against Kingston, while the Bulldogs visit the Oshawa Generals.

Plenty of action around the NHL as the review continues for a potential offside against the Ottawa 67.

Challenger, hard cross ice pass goes off a stick, Cameron O'Coin just lifts it down the ice, kick back out by Buick, Dietsch flips it ahead, knocked down by Cittoroni and that will do it for the opening period of play.

Sting struck first, Ottawa tied it up, but back-to-back goals from Sarnia puts them ahead 3-1 after 20 minutes of play.

Woo-hoo! And it was kind of funny because we ended up having a guy that went back to the same Korean place because Steph wanted a different item from the Korean place.

And I wanted St. Hubert, so we was like, okay, I'm not just going to do Express.

We'll just, you know, get it to come.

He goes and picks up her Korean stuff first.

Go figure.

Oh, and no chicken episode would be complete without a nod to Saint-Hubert's, as we called it in Toronto, where, by the way, we have no locations left.

But the original Montreal place is still there.

They also have about 120 other locations, mostly in the east.

Although I can still get the Saint-Hubert's sauce in a can at my grocery store, or the competing Swiss Chalet can.

Why do they do that? You know, I can get a grocery store rotisserie chicken, a can of sauce, and it's much cheaper and quicker and just as tasty as going to or ordering from a Swiss chalet and nobody to tip.

And I at home, unlike the restaurant, don't skimp on the sauce.

We love poutine.

We love St. Hubert.

But Quebec, man, they're getting creative with this poutine stuff.

I had poutine at St. Hubert, which I thought was pretty good, but it seems like a Swiss chalet type of spot.

But yeah, I'm going to try and get some good chicken parm.
