St. Anthony High School

When Ken, him and Kenyon, you'd see...

Well, before Duke, when they went to St. Anthony's, him and Kenyon had some legendary battles.

So salute to Coach Hurley, and congratulations on everything.

Fire.

And so I gave him a call the following day, and he went through the entire drill.

Again, I'm an assistant coach at St. Anthony High School, one of the top teams in America, and we are stealing a drill from a junior varsity, a girls team.

The next day, we put it in.

It was one of the most stressful experiences of my life, having to put in a drill at St. Anthony High School in front of a future Hall of Famer, Bob Hurley.

But Mark, the glove, was able to explain it to me, and I put it in.

I've always marveled at that.

They might as well have been Billy Joel and Robert De Niro to me.

And Jersey City, where St. Anthony High School was, might as well have been Beverly Hills.

The immigrants in the Gilded Age came to the United States believing the streets were paved with gold.

They were on the boats, and they get off the boat at Ellis Island, and they were muttering to themselves in their own language, mostly in Italian, where's the gold? There was so much opportunity, they thought gold was on the streets.
