I think I just remember watching like, maybe SSX Tricky.

Do you guys remember that video game? That was definitely like, wow, this is sick.

Obviously it's the most insane video game, but.

That probably influenced me a little.

Burnout 3, Takedown, some Eco, a little bit of Shadow of the Colossus.

I just ordered SSX Tricky because I couldn't find my old disc for it.

You know, it's kind of a bummer that the games are 30 bucks on eBay, the ones that are readily available.

But it's been also really fun to be like, dude, SSX Tricky is coming in the mail this week or next week or whenever.

And I'm going to get to sit down and play through that whole thing again.

And PC trying to find the good indies takes an enormous amount of work and time.

So as much as I hate to kind of go to the old familiars, I think there's a case to be made that maybe one of those deserve a slot.

SSX Tricky was another cult classic to a lot of people.

So I think we're in a funky spot right now where we're going to have to start making some tougher choices here.

NBA Street Volume 2 is a big deal to a lot of people.

I was going to

say SSX Tricky.

That was probably my next stop sign

there.

The reason for the season indeed.

We're gonna kick off with SSX Tricky.

I remember the advert for this being on probably, like, kids telly quite a lot, your, your Nickelodeons and your Fox Kids and stuff.

But Mr. McCormick, why did you pick this for Mr. McArthur?

Yeah

... that made it kind of stand out a wee bit.

But SSX Tricky was the second one in the series, and dear, dear oh dear oh dear, didn't they just knock it out the park? What was the pitch like for this game, man? Did they go like, um, "Right, we've got rid of our arts director for the last game.

Um, instead we're gonna have Bam Margera as our di- [laughs] as our art director for SSX Tricky." It was, it was quite something.

Yeah.

[laughs] It, it, so if you wanna play it, like, arcade style, so something like an SSX Tricky or, or a Cool Boarders-

... or a 1080, it's not that kind of game.

Na, na, na, na, na, na

... man, I might be the one in the perfect middle between the two of you to have played this incredible game growing up called SSX Tricky.

It was a snowboarding game.

Layton might be too young-

Ross might be too old.

And so for me, like, yes, most of my memories are multiplayer games, but like, you know, in that era is, like, SSX Tricky and SSX 3-
