Which coniferous tree belonging to the genus Picea is distributed across the temperate and boreal regions in the Northern Hemisphere? They can be identified by the four-sided needles and the cones that hang downwards after pollination.

Uh, larch.

Nope.

Do you know what kind of plantation?

Uh, I'm gonna say spruce.

Spruce?

Spruce, yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah, they have a lot of those over in the northern part of the Catskills.

Now I'm actually up close to one of my evergreen trees.

I've got a couple of spruce trees in my backyard.

Now I'm real close to the one.

So you see this stuff and you're like, I guess it's me not trading enough Western Spruce and knowing about it where I got to be careful when I make comments like that, because like Greg said, it's a strong sideways market and there's a lot of stuff moving on, moving on.

But like, you know, one mill was EFP in last week.

And what I think they were doing is they do what they wanted, wait for the board to go up, sell it again and EFP again.

I mean, I see the tone I'm getting here.

I don't know what's, I don't know on 4-inch what's going to be the catalyst that makes us go higher.

But it seems like the other stuff, like, I mean, you go out in the West, try to buy Western Spruce 2x6, Western Spruce 2x10.

at two by eight for that matter and especially if you took the west fraser out of the equation just said hey i don't want to buy west fraser wood for whatever reason good luck i mean there's i mean there's not a lot of wood

Spruce and fir, much more tolerant.

But definitely, if you're planting cherry laurels, any of the magnolias, hollies, make sure they're very well watered in the fall going into the wintertime before the ground freezes and you can't water, obviously.

Speaking of weather and climate, are you guys making any changes to what you plant based on projections

I mean, there's a bunch of seasonal sales coming up still and small ones, shorter ones.

You know, like I hate I hate myself for what I'm doing, but I do feel like in Spruce that in Eastern Spruce for sure.

Trading bounce is trying to happen.

I mean, and I think I said this last week is, you know, my feeling is, you know, in the best case, And maybe in the worst case, the market is a choppy sideways trade for the next 30 days plus.

I mean, you know, I'm trying to gauge, you know, given the fact that, you know, we move into, you know, seasonal weakness later in September and October on everything.

And, you know, what kind of a bounce can we get? My sense was that the...

My sense is, and this is more focused on Spruce than it is on Pine, but Charles, you can chime in and follow up on it, that the pipeline had been thinned out quite a bit and that the shorts were very aggressive, trying to proverbial put marks up on the board.

And so I think, you know, like, you know, you take away, you know, you get some short covering.
