Springfield

My father was a lawyer and did stuff in the community.

I mean, they used politics as a means to help people get out of, Difficult circumstances, politicians and politics and knowing who your representative was and what what they can do or not do for you was a way to get out of poverty in Springfield, Louisiana, where they were from.

You know, and it was part of the whole way of life that you it was almost a responsibility.

And so and that's listen, that's why they gave to political candidates to this day.
