Hi there, and welcome to Baseball by Design.

I am sportslogos.net minor league baseball correspondent Paul Caputo, broadcasting live from the new location of the Sunday Helmet Hall of Fame in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the shores of the Schuylkill River.

And I am Dan Simon, broadcasting from the Studio Simon headquarters at historic Bowman Field in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky.

Dan, this is a special emergency recording, but I have to ask you, good morning, hello, how are you?

They still have the Springbirds, which other Dan and I talked, you know, is, is a, a, a name that many people were using for this team anyway.

But I think having elements of that city flag in the brand itself i- is another sort of re- A wink and a nod to the city of Springfield, like, "Hey, this is still your team even though it's called, you know, Ozarks to represent the larger region." This is not the first time you and I have chatted about this logo.

Uh, shortly after it was unveiled we had a conversation, uh, so that I could write up an article for sportslogos.net, and you described the placement of the stars from that flag in the wordmark or in the primary logo that includes the wordmark, uh, you described it as a miracle.

[laughs]

Dan, we're both in the same time zone.

"I just wanted to reach out to say how much I've enjoyed listening.

I even got my dad your book back on Father's Day.

I've been a big Logos and Sports Design fan for years now and a frequent visitor of SportsLogos.net.

If you don't mind, I do have three questions for you I've been wondering about since listening.
