And we hope you enjoy the day and leave the i-lab motivated by these innovators who are creating the future of sports technology that we believe will have a lasting impact on, again, not just athletics, but on the future of human health.
J
4:30Jodie GoldsteinHOST
So right now, I'm gonna turn it over to the leaders who are at the forefront of this industry.

We always have a lot of research scientists that wanna know with return to play protocols and, you know, you really need to get baselines at the beginning of an athlete to be able to know this is what their peak performance is or this is what their condition is, combine it with other aspects like respiration and hydration and heart rate.
M
26:17Martin MattekGUEST
Now all of a sudden you have condition of an athlete, so it's all these measurements combined together that really brings out the ability to have something quantifiable.
J
26:26Josh WalkerMODERATOR
So we talk to a lot of pro teams at the Sports Innovation Lab, and they s- sometimes tell us that they've got like nine different wearables-

One thing I want to say as we kick this off, when the panel ends, if everyone could exit to my left into the iLab, it makes it a lot easier for the rotation.

Somebody tell me what the home run product is now.
L
16:39Leslie SaxonGUEST
I don't think there is one that shows the world this is what it could be.
A
16:42Angela RuggieroMODERATOR
Yeah, in Sports Innovation Lab, we're actually going to try to sort of create a competitive analysis, because to both your points, there's a ton of these companies popping up, and consolidation is sort of what we're starting to see in the market.
A
16:57Angela RuggieroMODERATOR
But to be able to understand, you have the benefit of having USC Center, you know, you can test the sensors, but not everyone has that opportunity to really know what the difference are in the market.
